Electric Skillet Lasagna

Unit: Electric Skillet, Salad Machine, 3 quart and steamer

1 lb ground beef
16 oz small curd cottage cheese (daisy)
15 oz part skim ricotta cheese
8 oz block mozzarella (#1 blade)
1 jar of pasta sauce (good quality)
Darn good seasoning
Lasagna noodles (regular or wheat)

Put 1” of water in the 3 quart and turn on medium high heat. Put the steamer basket in and steam the beef for 10 minutes, stir until browned. While meat is cooking, mix cottage and ricotta together in a bowl and season with Darn good.

Put the meat in the cold Electric Skillet with the jar of pasta sauce, stir and spread out. Break to fit 3 crossed layers of dry noodles on top of sauce mixture. Spread cheese mixture on top of noodles until completely covered. Turn heat to 375 and open the whistle. When the whistle sounds, reduce heat to 225. Total cooking time is 30 minutes.

Add shredded mozzarella on top with 5 minutes remaining in the cooking time. Turn heat off when time it up, let it stand 5 minutes covered and 5 minutes uncovered. Delicious!
